Wednesday, July 19, 2017

Hajj flights carrying Bangladeshi pilgrims to Saudi Arabia will begin on July 24 and end on August 26 this year.

The return Hajj flights will begin on September 6 and continue till October 5.

Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Rashed Khan Menon came up with the final schedule at the ministry of Bangladesh Secretariat on Tuesday noon.

The Minister, however, revealed only Bangladesh Biman hajj flights. He said nothing over Saudi Airlines flights.

He said, “The first flight will leave Dhaka at 7:55am on July 24 and reach Jeddah at 11:30am (local time).  The last hajj flight will take off 9:05am on August 26.”

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will visit Ashkona Hajj camp in the capital and inaugurated it on July 22, he added.

A total of 127,198 pilgrims from Bangladesh are scheduled to perform Hajj this year.
