SUTRA Travel has launched a web portal to enable pilgrims to book their umrah trips online.

The one-stop GoUmrah.travel enables them to instantly book umrah trips including all major elements such as flights, hotels, transfers, visits to holy sites, travel insurance and visa processing.

Sutra Travel Management Group managing director and chief executive officer Datuk Syed Mohd Razif Syed Yasin performed the soft launch at the 8th Muslim World Biz Exhibition and Conference 2017.

“When the portal goes live on Oct 23, users will be able to instantly book major components of their umrah trip.

“Users will have the flexibility to choose their travel dates, preferred hotels and length of stay, transportation for airport and inter-city transfers,” he said.

The online platform saves users’ time and transactions can be done 24/7.

“It allows users to choose the services they require. Traditional umrah packages sold by agents in Malaysia are not as flexible,” added Syed Razif.

Sri Sutra Travel Sdn Bhd Corporate Communications head Yusnidar Abdullah said bookings made via GoUmrah.travel would be instantly confirmed.

“Pilgrims will be able to perform their holy obligations with ease through the GoUmrah.travel portal,” added Yusnidar.
