NCPC Congratulates NAHCON Over Newly Acquired Property

The Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC) has congratulated the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), on its newly acquired building property from Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON). A property to be used as the commission’s corporate headquarters.

The executive secretary of NCPC, Rev Uja Tor Uja who made the remark yesterday in Abuja during the official handing over of Metro Plaza acquired by NAHCON, lauded the chairman, Alhaji Mukhtar Abdullahi for having such vision, adding that the place will serve as centre for pilgrimage exercise.

Uja stated that handing over of the property is not just to muslims, but also to the Nigerian vision of standing up to be counted of doing things right with a vision that will stand the test of time.

He added that it shows the strength of vision to lift pilgrimage to a level where it will not only stand that will be a blessing to Nigeria.

He urged Christians and Muslims to always work and stand together in order to take Nigeria to greater heights.

Chairman of NAHCON, Alhaji Mukhtar Abdullahi in his remark said, the commission wouldn’t have been able to achieve the property without the encouragement President Muhammadu Buhari, adding that it would serve as a centre for building people for peace and development.

He assured that the newly acquired property will transform hajj operation completely, make it more organised, modernised that will aid stable service delivery.

“If you have a main environment where your staff can work, their capacity to think will improve, and their output in service in terms of service delivery will be good,” he affirmed.
