Giant plasma screens guide visitors to Prophet’s Mosque

Saudi Gazette reportMADINAH — Chairman of the Presidency of the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques Sheikh Abdul Ramhan Al-Sudais has launched the installation of giant plasma screens in the Prophet’s Mosque to teach visitors in various languages of the correct method of paying homage to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and his two Companions buried close to the mosque near the Rawdah Al-Shareef, which is the area between the house of the Prophet and his pulpit.The screens were installed at the Bab Al-Salam and Bab Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq gates of the mosque.The video content on the screens ask visitors to conduct themselves in peace and serenity within the mosque and to follow the instructions and the guiding signs until they reach the Rawdah to greet the Prophet and his Companions Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq and Umar Bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with them).Sudais said the new service was in line with the keenness of the Saudi leadership to provide the best of services to the visitors of the Prophet’s Mosque and to enable them do their worship in a correct manner.He said the presidency is determined to use modern technology to organize the entry and exit of visitors and to enable them worship in an atmosphere of peace and comfort.
