JEDDAH —No case of forged Haj visas has been detected among pilgrims arriving in the Kingdom so far, according to Maj. Gen. Sulaiman Al-Yahya, director general of the Passport Department.

"We have not detected a single case of forgery in the passports of the pilgrims as of yet," Al-Yahya said at the end of an inspection tour of the Haj Terminal of King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah.

Al-Yahya, however, said some people arrived in Jeddah and Madinah on business visit visas, which are normally stopped during the Haj season.

The passport chief toured the immigration counters for female pilgrims and ensured the entry procedures were going on smoothly.

Al-Yahya asked the passport officials to welcome the guests of God with warmth and enthusiasm and provide them with the best services possible to make their stay in the Kingdom comfortable.
