MAKKAH — Princess Sama Bint Faisal, the head of the Saudi Girl Scouts Committee, confirmed that they are looking forward to expanding the number of Saudi girl scouts participating in the upcoming Hajj seasons with the relevant authorities.

Princess Sama made these remarks while conducting a tour to follow up on girl scouts' work this year. She noted that the number of Saudi girl scouts’ participation during this year’s Hajj has witnessed an increase.

The girl scouts have undergone intensive training during the previous period, in order to prepare them on how to deal with all the circumstances that qualify them to serve Hajj pilgrims in the right ways, she said.

Princess Sama pointed out that the girl scouts, who are participating in Hajj 2023, have excitement and ambition to serve Saudi Arabia through providing qualitative services for the pilgrims.

The girl scouts are providing their services in the King Faisal hospital in Makkah by helping and guiding the patients inside the hospital.

The girl scouts, in addition, take part in their role in the guiding centers of the Hajj and Umrah Ministry, through which, they guide the pilgrims and distribute guiding maps for them.

It is noteworthy that the general services camps of Saudi Arabia's scouts committee are witnessing this year the participation of 150 girls from the Saudi Girl Scouts Committee, who are participating in providing several services via various duties.
