Deputy Emir of Makkah Prince Abdullah Bin Bandar has opened a center to receive Haj pilgrims at Al-Nuwariyyah along the Haramain Expressway. The center has a capacity to receive about 300 pilgrim coaches an hour.

JEDDAH: The Health Ministry said it is implementing an integrated plan to maximize performance in terms of health services provided to pilgrims. The plan includes remedial, preventive and emergency programs via well-equipped health facilities and qualified medical personnel trained to provide these services.

The first batch of Indian pilgrims coming through Haj Committee of India (HCOI) reached Makkah from Madinah on Monday. The pilgrims were received at Makkah by the Indian Consul General Md. Noor Rahman Sheikh along with DCG/Consul (Haj) Mohd. Shahid Alam and Vice Consul (Haj)/In-Charge, Makkah Office Asif Saeed.
