JEDDAH: Deputy Hajj and Umrah Minister Dr. Abdul Fattah Al-Mashat chaired the first meeting of the coordination committee between the Hajj and Umrah Ministry and the Makkah Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The chamber’s Chairman Hisham bin Mohammed Kaaki and officials in the Hajj and Umrah services sector were present.

The meeting discussed the strategic partnership between the ministry and the chamber, including the involvement of the private sector in developing Hajj and Umrah services.

Hajj and Umrah Minister Dr. Mohammed Saleh bin Taher Benten instructed that the meeting be held to enhance cooperation and partnership with the public and private sectors, Al-Mashat said.
