Exhibition on the Prophet’s life in Madinah

MADINAH: Prince Saud bin Khalid Al-Faisal, deputy governor of Madinah, opened the first international exhibition on the Life of the Prophet and the Islamic Civilization in the presence of leading Islamic figures and diplomats. The exhibition was organized by the Muslim World League (MWL) in cooperation with authorities on the history of the Prophet and Islamic fields.

Muslim World League (MWL) secretary-general, Dr. Mohammed bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa, stressed the importance of the exhibition as a documented historic presentation on the Prophet’s life and the beauty of the Islamic civilization.

He said: “A great number of scholars and thinkers of this nation have written about the life of the Prophet and the Islamic civilization, which has always been a beacon for all.”

A delegation from the MWL conference that will be held on the 14th of Ramadan in Makkah will visit the exhibition at the end of the conference.

Sheikh Saleh bin Humaid, imam and khateeb of the Grand Mosque in Makkah, stressed the importance of working on the history of the Prophet and Islamic civilization, noting their scientific richness that deserves attention and care and expressing his appreciation of the exhibition.

Mohammad Bechari, secretary-general of the World Council of Muslim Communities, said the exhibition is the largest civilization exhibition on the Prophet’s life and holds many messages to the world, including peace and love.

Prince Saud toured the exhibition and looked at “the beautifully executed documentary that serves the history of Prophet Muhammad and the Islamic civilization.”
