Shuttle buses in Madinah to transport 1.35m people

Over 110 Saudis drive the buses that have special seats for the elderly and the physically challenged. Over 100 buses work every day from 3 pm until after Taraweeh prayer except on Friday when they work from 10 am. The operation schedule changes during the last ten days of Ramadan as business work until the late night prayer.

Lodging charges in Makkah up by 80%

Bandar Rajab, a hotel manager, said: “At presence the occupancy rate is 90 percent. This will go up to 100 percent in the last 10 days of Ramadan. We offer special package programs for the last 10 days charging SR29,000 including Iftar and Sahoor meals.”
