It said pilgrims will be accommodated in licensed buildings in Makkah in rooms having spaces of four square meters per pilgrim while in Arafat they will be accommodated in fire-resistant air-conditioned tents with a space of 1.6 square meter per pilgrim.

Madinah charity distributes 20,000 Iftar meals per day

Speaking about the charity’s additional services this year, the official said: “We distribute Iftar meals at Prince Muhammad Bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah and at the tent for receiving pilgrims and visitors along the Hijrah Road.”

First flight to land at new Jeddah airport today

Saudi men and women above the age of 18 can register for free tickets for weekend travel between Madinah and Makkah, according to Rumaih Al-Rumaih, president of Public Transport Authority and acting president of Saudi Railway Organization.
