Katsina State Government has announced N300,000 as minimum hajj deposit for the state intending pilgrims ahead of next years hajj exercise.
The Executive Director of the state Pilgrims Welfare Board Alhaji Muhammad Abu-Rimi who announced this at a press conference in Katsina noted that people willing to perform the 2018 hajj are advised to visit its zonal offices nearest to them to register.
According to him, the board do not accept cash deposits but bank drafts. Noting that ’ the board does not register pilgrims by proxy and does not accept cash payment and anybody who does so should blame self,’’
