Saudi issued around three million Umrah visas in five months

The Saudi authorities have issued 2,913,170 entry visas for visitors to perform the Umrah over the past five months.

According to the latest statistics, a total 2,595,830 pilgrims have entered Saudi Arabia and performed the Umrah of whom 2,210, 041 have left the country after finishing the small Haj rituals.

The figures show that 2,437,148 pilgrims arrived by air, 147,965 through the land border entry points and 10,717 others by sea.

Pakistan topped the list with 610,880 pilgrims in rive months, followed by 537,894 Indonesians, 307,066 Indians, 156,496 Egyptians, 130,949 Malaysians, 110,389 Turkish,  97,767 Algerians, 57,730 Emiratis and 52,175 Jordanians and other nationalities.
