In a humane gesture, a security guard at the Grand Mosque of Makkah was seen holding a crying baby so that his mother could pray. The caring gesture has gone viral on all social media platforms.

The video showed the security guard caressing the baby, patting him on his back so that he could stop crying. The mother of the boy praised the authorities for making excellent arrangements and thanked the guard.

Netizens have heaped praise upon the man for his noble deed. This is not the first time a security guard has helped pilgrims perform the rituals and prayers.

In March, a kind gesture of a security guard towards a little girl praying at the Grand Mosque in Makkah won the hearts of millions of people on social media platforms.

The security guard saw the child praying under the sun, so he did his best to hold an umbrella to block the sun’s rays giving her some shade and relief from the heat.

The girl was seen greeting the guard after completing her prayers. The girl’s identity is not known, but netizens have appealed to the authorities to honour the man for his noble deeds.

Meanwhile, the Saudi Minister of Health, Eng. Fahd Al-Jalajil confirmed a reassuring health status for all pilgrims and visitors to Makkah this Ramadan.

He added that no epidemic outbreaks or any threats to public health have been recorded so far, noting the Saudi government’s keenness to provide the best services for pilgrims and to maintain their health and safety.
