Sri Lanka’s Hajj pilgrim quota raised

Sri Lanka’s Hajj pilgrim quota for next year has increased to 3,500 after an agreement was signed with Saudi Arabia on Monday. The Kingdom’s Hajj and Umrah Deputy Minister Dr. Abdul Sulaiman Mashat signed the deal with Sri Lanka’s Mohammed Faleel Marjan Azmi.

The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques has started writing the numbers of the gates of the Grand Mosques in illuminated colors to make it easy for the pilgrims and visitors to recognize them.

Aqeeq Pond in Madinah province

Aqeeq Pond was once a principal stop on the ancient Darb Zubaidah pilgrimage route. The large, square-shaped water station is located 45 kilometers northeast of the Daribbah antiquity site on the western slopes of Al-Aqeeq Valley in Madinah province.
