Sonny Bill Williams visits historic mosque in Saudi Arabia

Sonny Bill Williams has made his latest pilgrimage to a historic mosque in Saudi Arabia. The All Black posted a picture of himself on Twitter posing in front of the mosque known as the Prophet's Mosque. "What an amazing feeling visiting the prophets(as) holy masjid in Madinah," he said in the post.

Jordan impose JOD200 on Hajj

The Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs in Jordan stated that people, who want to perform Hajj, are obligated to pay JOD200. The ministry explained that that this move is for worshipers to gain their place in Mecca and permit the ministry to count the precise number of people who are serious about performing the religious duty in 2018.

Biometrics Required for All Hujjaj Travelling for Hajj

All hujjaj including South Africans embarking and travelling on the spiritual journey of hajj in 1439/2018 will require biometrics to be processed. This is according to the South African Hajj and Umrah Council (SAHUC) who says it was informed of the decision by the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Pretoria during a meeting on the 11 January.
