Final round of 40th international Qur’an competition takes place in Madinah  

JEDDAH: The final round of the King Abdulaziz international competition for memorizing, reciting, and interpreting the Qur’an got underway on Saturday. KSA has issued more than 282,000 visas to Umrah pilgrims so far

JEDDAH: The number of Umrah visas issued this year has reached 282,124, of which 96,038 pilgrims have arrived in the Kingdom, according to data provided by the Hajj and Umrah Ministry.  There are 87,232 pilgrims still in the Kingdom, with 65,967 in Makkah and 21,265 in Madinah. Saudi Arabia’s Haramain railway open to public from Oct. 11

JEDDAH: Passenger services on the new Haramain High-Speed Railway will begin on Thursday, the Saudi Public Transport Authority (PTA) said.
