Young Saudi treks on the Hijrah route to spread breast cancer message

He said: “This is a call for being positive and how to control what is destined for us. Therefore, we have agreed with the Saudi traveler Yasser Hamaid to spread the message by walking through the Hijrah route, which our Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his followers took while they migrated from Makkah to Madinah, in order to emphasize the importance of early examination of our sisters, daughters and wives.”

Interest in Indonesian language growing among Saudis, expats

Some of the applicants said they needed to learn Bahasa to support their work at Haj and Umrah companies and establishments that serve Indonesian pilgrims. Some said they needed to learn Bahasa to get better employment, while others said they wanted to pick it up for their business endeavors.

Over half a million Umrah visas issued so far

The number of pilgrims still in the Kingdom is 202,792 pilgrims, with 140,848 pilgrims in Makkah and 61,944 in Madinah, the ministry said, adding that 75,914 pilgrims left Saudi Arabia after completing the Umrah rites.

‘Saudi Arabia’s stability, security a red line for Muslim world’

JEDDAH: The Supreme Council of the Muslim World League (MWL) held its 43rd session in Makkah, with senior scholars and ministers from Muslim countries in attendance. The council expressed solidarity with the Saudi leadership and people, and condemned attempts to target the Kingdom, saying its stability and security are a red line for the Muslim world.
