Contingency plan being finalised to protect Hajj pilgrims from coronavirus

The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has devised a comprehensive contingency plan to protect Hajj pilgrims from coronavirus (COVID-19), Secretary Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Mian Mushtaq Ahmed Borana said Tuesday.

Schedule for TS pilgrims released

Hajj Committee of India has released the schedule for the Haj pilgrims for the season of 2020. According to this schedule, the pilgrims will start leaving from 9th July and their return journey will start on 13th August.

Saudi Arabia closes all mosques for prayers except the Two Holy Mosques

The Council of Senior Scholars in Saudi Arabia decided on Tuesday to suspend the daily congregational prayers and the weekly Friday prayer in all mosques across the Kingdom. The Grand Mosque in Makkah and the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah are exempted from this ruling.
