Saudi Arabia allocates 5.33 sq mt for each pilgrim in Mina camps

Saudi Arabia said 4.37 square metres were allocated for each pilgrim in the Mashaar Mina towers, and 5.33 square metres in the distinctive hospitality package in the Mashaar Mina camps, as the Kingdom prepares to host 60,000 pilgrims from within its inside the country to perform pilgrimage this year.

Egypt to launch portal for Umrah pilgrimage to end brokerage

Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi has issued Law No 72 of 2021, to establish a domestic portal for the Umrah (minor Islamic pilgrimage). The Egyptian Portal for Umrah aims to organise Umrah trips set up by tourism companies, according to the Official Gazette.

NAHCON To Adopt Malaysian, Indonesian Hajj Models

Determined to overcome the likely consequence of the cancellation of the annual pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia for two consecutive years, the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has revealed plans to adopt the Malaysia and Indonesia system of Hajj operations to deal with the congestion.
